Get to know me:

Educational and professional background:

I graduated from Woodcrest Christian School in Riverside, CA, in 1990, and attended The Master’s University in Santa Clarita, CA, from which I graduated in 1994 with my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.

I taught P.E. and 5th grade remedial math at Calvary Christian School in Glendale, CA, for two years and privately math tutored a high school student. Later, our family lived overseas for 20 years, where I homeschooled our 5 children and helped organize a homeschool co-op for nationals and expats.

After we returned from Albania, I worked for two years as a middle school math aide at Woodcrest Christian School, assisting in 7th and 8th grade math classes and organizing a daily after-school Math Workshop program for struggling students. Later, I worked for the school as a substitute teacher and privately as a math tutor.

Current work:

I offer one-on-one online math tutoring to help students succeed in their math studies. I also assist students in identifying and addressing missing pieces in their foundational math knowledge which may be inhibiting their progress. This service is available to individual students, as well as to students who are members of Mission Vista Academy charter school.
